Generations | 2:38 mins

The Nyonya Sarong Kebaya is a traditional costume worn by the Peranakans of Southeast Asia, consisting of a long-sleeved blouse and a long skirt wrapped around the waist. This style of kebaya was also the inspiration for the iconic uniform of flight attendants of Singapore Airlines (SIA).

One of the last Sarong Kebaya makers in Singapore, Raymond Wong believes in adapting the traditional Sarong Kebaya to suit the needs of the modern generation.
