Classic Cheongsam

Generations | 2:00 mins

The cheongsam, also known as 旗袍, is a traditional Chinese dress that dates back to the Qing Dynasty. Many people believe it was adapted from the one-piece dress of Manchu women back then. As Chinese New Year nears, watch the video to find out more about the different variations of cheongsams from Ms Annie Lim, director of The Chinese Cheongsam Association in Singapore and pick up your own before it’s too late!
