Singapore’s Home Alarm For Elderly Living Alone

For many elderly people who live alone in their flats, getting help quickly during home emergencies is a genuine concern.

Often, the fear is that nobody would come by to help, should something bad happen to them.

In order to help these elderly residents, one dedicated team from GovTech spoke to about 100 residents, and prototyped a home alarm that alerts a 24-hour operator whenever the alarm is sounded – ensuring that assistance or help is available to them when they need it.
